The water used by the oceanarium is derived from Manila Bay that made suitable for marine life. They carefully study the behavior of every marine species for better management. They actively balance “running the business” and “ preserving the life on marine species” . They assigned best people with skills and with sufficient capacity for those essential for successful strategy implementation. Here are some freshwater and marine organism found in the oceanarium. back to the wild release program Manila Ocean Park’s banner CSR program is called “I LOVE MY OCEAN PLANET”. A campaign that encourages volunteerism, public education and community mobilization activities designed to increase public awareness and action on coastal management issues and instill pride in our country’s natural resources. It is an expanded responsibility of stewardship not only with marine biodiversity but also with other creatures who are dependent on the wellness of the ocean.

METRO MANILA There are lots of large infrastructure, buildings, bridges and houses. The technological advancement greatly affects the urban ecology. Because of the large number of population in the city it gives more extensive form of community. There are limited areas for trees because of large buildings and amusement parks in the city. You can only see domesticated animals in the city, dogs and cats since they can live together with human. There are few birds in the sky since there are no trees that serves as their habitat. And because of large area covered by buildings and roads there are high possibility for floods in times of heavy rain because the precipitation rate is higher than the absorption rate of the soil. And unlike in the rural areas, the soil in the city has few mineral contents and less organic. The community depend on dams for their water supplies for their daily used. They cannot depend on groundwater because it has chemical that is dangerous to human. They strictly conserved the water resources because they are limited for their daily need. Also there is a threat for acid rain because of its air components and water precipitation in the city area. It is observable for anybody that there is a hot weather brought by the air. The wind is not that refreshing. And it is because there are no trees to absorb the carbon dioxide in the area. There is no balance between human community and the environment that resulted to unhealthy environment for both physical and sustenance. There is no sufficient amount of clean water for everyone because of its limited sources. And lastly it is unhealthy to live because of the threat of pollution, air and water pollution. There is a problem for proper waste management.
